From power shoulders to super hero capes, asymmetrical necklines and tapestry fabrics, the A/W 2019 catwalk season offers a whole list of new trends to have on your radar and satisfy every sartorial desire.

Flowers: These enormous florals should now be the thing for autumn evenings rather than spring days. Very impressive “rose”coats with matching pants or checked jackets with embroidered gardens have a joyful spirit and are perfect for those with eclectic tastes.

Cosy Capes: One of the strongest outerwear silhouettes to come out of the fall collections was the cape. The armless style was seen all over the catwalks and will likely be one of the must-have pieces.Patent leather: As the runways like Burberry, Chanel, Gucci and many more have shown, high shiny leather is still trendier as ever! You can go with something grand like a bright yellow or layer a classic beige belted trench coat over a pencil skirt and tailored trousers for extra style points.

Bows & ribbons: Oversized bows are big for the season. Romantic and feminine nature they give an unexpected touch to the long dresses and decorate jean jackets to add girlishness to any silhouette without taking away any of its sophistication.

Feather fever: Extravagant, playful and fun, adopting this trend is an easy way to make a statement. Plumes are the ultimate way to add flair to any look. Associated to old Hollywood glamour, feathers are no longer symbol of grandeur, but details to experiment and add a little spice to a minimal look.

Tapestry: Eclectic needle work and embroidery, these pieces will  add personality to any look and give a nostalgic mood. Magnificent coats and dresses, ensure maximum impact and have a bohemian flair of Seventies style.

Sparkle: Light up the room with your entrance! If you dread heading into the grey winter months and have a wardrobe to match then you might want to add a pop of sparkle! Look at 80’s night club style a la Studio 54 and focus on the star power of a chain-mail dress.
